Evil Geniuses Sign New CoD: Infinite Warfare Roster

Evil Geniuses have signed four new players to make up their new Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare roster.

The team will consist of Jeremy ‘StuDyy’ Astacio, Colt ‘Havok’ McLendon, Jared ‘Nagafen’ Harrell, and Anthony ‘NAMELESS’ Wheeler as team captain.

StuDyy and NAMELESS were both previously part of Luminosity Gaming, with Havok and Nagafen coming from Cloud9 and Team eLevate respectively. All four players have competed in previous Call of Duty tournaments, most recently in Advanced Warfare in 2014.

The team members are all ready for their first game, the Call of Duty World League Invitational at the Playstation Experience in Anaheim, California on December 3rd and 4th. Two weeks later, they’ll compete again at MLG Vegas for a prize pool of $100,000.

Evil Geniuses previously had a Call of Duty team back in 2014 but it was disbanded after a series of disappointing results.

“I'm thrilled to make EG a part of the Call of Duty family once again,” Peter Dager, Managing Director for Evil Geniuses said in the press release. “Hearing what Activision has planned for this year, along with finding such a talented squad with Nameless as their captain, it was a no-brainer.”

“Being a part of EG is honestly a dream come true to a pro gamer,” NAMELESS added. “They're one of the best organizations across all esports, and they've had some of the best teams.”

Good luck to Evil Geniuses Call of Duty squad! We can’t wait to see what the future holds. Watch NAMELESS’ announcement video below and keep an eye out for EG’s SCUF PS4 controller sometime in early 2017.
