Featured Match: Wings Gaming vs WG Unity

It’s only the first week of 2017 and there’s already a cool $250,000 on the line for some of the world’s best Dota 2 players as they clash at ESL One in Malaysia’s Genting Highlands over the next four days.

One of the first matches off the blocks is China’s Wings Gaming taking on Malaysia’s WG.Unity. Out of the pair, Wings are the only team to receive a direct invite to the ESL One, coming off the back of an incredible first place and a cool $9 million dollars at The International 6 in August last year.

While Wings may be the clear favorites, this is by no means a walkoverWG.Unity have been snapping necks and cashing cheques in the minor leagues, taking out cups all across South-East Asia and even placing higher at The Boston Major than Wings did. Is it time for the Malaysians to clip Wings', er… wings? Tune in and find out!
