Featured Match: Space Soliders vs Team EnVyUs

The action is heating up at Changzhou as we advance to the semi-final stage of the WESG World Finals and today we’re looking at an absolute classic David vs. Goliath story as the relatively little fish at Space Soldiers (39/20) face off against one of the best CS:GO teams in the world with EnVyUs (19/50).

Space Soldiers vs Team EnVyUs at WESG World Finals

Space Soldiers have been doing extremely well at regional events in and around their home country of Turkey and have done an incredible job to get this far in some tough competition at WESG, leaving Selfless and iGaming in the dust behind them to make the semifinals. They’ve already secured $10,000 in prize money but will be looking at a much nicer purse of at least $60,000 if they can come out on top today against EnVyUs.

EnVyUs have had a mixed bag lately, their last win at Gfinity CS:GO Invitational in Birmingham in September and placing in the finals at Esports Championship Series Season 2 in Anaheim. They may not be thinking of the Turkish lads as much of threat, but nothing gets the crowd going like a good underdog story. Anything could happen – place your bets!
