Fnatic Reclaims JW and flusha From Godsent

Team Fnatic have made what many believe to be a huge power play this weekend with the announcement that Jesper "JW" Wecksell and Robin "flusha" Rönnquist will be returning to the lineup.

The two star players are making their way back from Godsent, who receive Joakim “disco doplan” Gidetun and Simon “twist” Eliasson back in return. With JW and flusha in place, Fnatic has now recreated the same 2015/2016 Fnatic lineup that dominated ELeague and ESL One Cologne.

JW and flusha left Fnatic to join Godsent in August last year, along with Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson. At the time, Fnatic referred to “internal issues” that had created “a clear division within the team”.

That sentiment appears to have now changed, with Fnatic’s latest release saying that, “Looking back we realise we've caused a lot of confusion and unnecessary drama amongst Fnatic fans; everyone involved is hugely apologetic for how the last few months unfolded, but sometimes it takes a period of time apart to realise how special a bond was.”

“After cracks began to appear in the team chemistry, abrupt decisions were made in the heat of the moment. Now after having time to contemplate, all members have reconciled and are more motivated than ever to reunite, and get back to the Fnatic of old.”

The new lineup appears to be ready to take on the world again, with flusha commenting, “It's kind of funny how when the rumors came up, players from other teams would ask me if there was any truth in them. I could feel that it was not out of curiosity but rather fear that they were asking.”

“I know now that what we had was a very special combination of players; a great team. I've learned that now and the other teams have every right to be afraid.”
