Fnatic Benches Amazing, Promotes Broxah from Fnatic Academy

Fnatic’s League of Legends team recently announced that their jungler, Maurice “Amazing” Stückenschneider, will be benched for two weeks and replaced with Academy jungler Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen.

Interestingly, Amazing will not be taking Broxah’s place in the Challenger team. Instead, Fnatic will be bringing in an outsider in the form of mousesports player Daniel “Dan” Hockley to fill the Academy role.

"At the start of the 2017 season, we mentioned the importance of having a flexible 10-man roster, and the benefits it would be able to bring to both of our lineups throughout the split,” the announcement on Facebook reads.

“Having seen excellent displays from Broxah in the Challenger Series, we have made the decision to give him a shot in the LCS team."

Amazing’s performance hasn’t been top-notch lately, his kill participation at 60.6 ranking second lowest of any jungler in Europe at the moment. Are Fnatic looking for a permanent solution to less-than-Amazing roster choice? Or is it perhaps the pressure getting to Amazing, requiring a two-week vacation to rediscover his A-game?

It’s unclear at this point, so keep your eyes glued here for more details as they arise.
