Misfits Launches New Vainglory Team, Picks Up Roster Of Fates Zero
Team Misfits have partnered with their Miami Heat owners to make a play for the Vainglory arena, buying the Fates Zero roster and rebranding it under their own.
Alexander "Eeko" Mier, Emmanuel "IllesT" Miguel and Stephan "Exhail" Nalbandyan will for the new Misfits Vainglory team, which will debut at the Vainglory Preseason Invitational in San Mateo, California on February 26.
A joint statement from Misfits CEO and co-founder Ben Spoont, and Miami Heat executive Michael McCullough, outlines that 'having the ability to closely work together with a forward-thinking game developer to really create a sustainable ecosystem for all stakeholders from the beginning' was a key factor in their decision.

Misfits join Fnatic, Cloud9, Echo Fox and other major esports teams in formalising their Vainglory competition, cementing support for what appears to be an increasingly popular competitive esport -- and the first to do so on the mobile platform.
