COD Player Phillip 'PHiZZURP' Klemenov Dies at 23

The 23-year-old Call of Duty pro player, Phillip ‘PHiZZURP’ Klemenov has died in a tragic car accident overnight.

His girlfriend Adrianna broke the news in an emotional video. Phizzurp was apparently behind the wheel when he lost control of the car. The car flipped, hit a pole and went through three trees. Phizzurp’s best friend, who was also in the car, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The hospital staff did all they could to save Phizzurp but were unable to save him.

Adrianna wishes to stress that any news reports that read that Phizzurp was drinking and driving are inaccurate and that he drank only water last night.

Phizzurp played Call of Duty for H2k-Gaming, who bought out his previous team, Apotheon esports. He leaves behind not only his heartbroken girlfriend, Adrianna, but a team of heartbroken friends. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and of course, to Adrianna.

A GoFundMe campaign has been started to cover funeral costs, and has already reached its $10k goal in only three hours. To donate, please follow this link. Phizzurp's friends and family are using the hashtag #RIPPHIZZURP, so please include this in any messages of support.
